Steel, aluminum, copper and non-ferrous metals are also effectively protected against corrosion. The diesel additive works without triggering corrosive combustion products.

Grotamar 82 is filled into the drained tank. A previous solution or mixing of the diesel additive is not necessary. The agent distributes itself reliably and quickly in the fuel. In case of abnormalities such as clogging of the filter, shock dosing should be used. For successful tank sanitation, the tank should then be filled with pre-preserved diesel.
After the application of the diesel additive, the filter may become clogged with dead bacteria.
